Kitchen Backsplash & Tile Installation
A backsplash is the most visible tile in the house. It sits at eye level, under direct light, a few feet from where people stand and talk. Every uneven grout line and every badly cut edge around an outlet is going to be seen every single day.
That is why the layout matters as much as the tile.
We plan the layout before we set anything: where the pattern starts, how it lands at the cabinets, how the cuts fall around outlets and windows, where the trim closes the edge. A backsplash that starts in the wrong place ends with a sliver of tile in the most visible corner of the kitchen.
What we install
- Subway tile — straight set, stacked or herringbone
- Glass and stone mosaic
- Arabesque and lantern shapes
- Full-height backsplashes to the ceiling
- Range niches and focal panels
- Kitchen floors in porcelain, cement-look and natural stone
- Large format gauged porcelain panels and slabs
Grout color changes everything. A white subway tile with white grout reads as a clean surface; the same tile with dark grout reads as a pattern. We will show you both before we mix anything.
Countertops are installed by a fabricator we coordinate with, so the counter and the backsplash are scheduled to meet correctly.
